[Cygnar] Cygnar Army Builds from squee

I'll go first, shall I?

'The Fusillade'
Army Size: 25 points.
Caster: Major Markus 'Siege' Brisbane
Battlegroup 1: Siege - Centurion.
Battlegroup 2: StrangeWayes - Defender
Support: 10 LongGunners

How does it work?
Long gunners sit in foxhole, Defender takes high ground with Strangewayes ready to repair from return fire. Centurion holds the line. Everyone open fire.

It's not rocket science, but it works.

I prefer Defender to be in Siege's Bgroup. Note that you don't have to marshall it to get the power booster advantage.

The problem with getting marshalled by Arlan is that if he dies, your jack becomes inefficient.

I also prefer Centy to be Claddy.

True... A cyclone also can somewhat handle stealthy models.

@Tekanan: It's not that bad, A Warcaster can always take control of an autonomous jack. You just need to get B2B, caster needs to forfeit action. Next turn the jack is in the caster's battlegroup.

As squee knows, I'm not really a believer in jack marshalling except for cygnaran jack marshals. The problem here is Arlan IS INDEED a cygnar marshall XD.

squee plays better than I do and Arlan would probably survive longer under him.

After reading Alif's feedback and looking at the models at hand, his idea just might work...

'The Fusillade' mk II
Army Size: 25 points.
Caster: Major Markus 'Siege' Brisbane

Battlegroup 1: Siege - Triumph, Ironclad, Reinholdt.

Battlegroup 2: Strangewayes - Defender

How does it work?
Defender and Triumph sit in foxhole, with Strangewayes behind, ready to repair from return fire. When targetting heavies, Strangewayes uses free boost on defender's damage roll and uses power booster for Triumph's damage roll. Given their high RAT with aiming bonus, they shouldn't have a problem hitting heavies, freeing up Focus for Siege. IronClad and Siege stand nearby, ready for hammertime. Everyone open fire.
