Restarting My KHador

Hi guys, just thinking about playing khador again. Planning to play jack heavy.. maybe 1-2 caster 1 solo and 3-5 jack. any suggestion.. any one selling for that matter.

What caster/jack are you looking for in particular? I have a painted Sorscha for sale and maybe 2 unassembled plastic khador heavy warjack. The plastic warjack can be tailor-made to a Marauder, Juggernaut, Destroyer or a Decimator. The best is to obviously magnetise it .

Well actualy i was thinking of getting karchev, i will definately be getting the starter.. its a good bargain. Regreted selling my khador last time.

- vlad= something different... i notice lot of people play butcher so i will play with vlad instead.
- kodiak= another nice and nasty jack
- draco = just love the model
- maybe 2 heavy jack beside the one in the starter.
- widowmaker marksmen = i like this model..looks cool

Just wondering what the difference between the epic caster and the normal one.. can you simply take any and use.

I got pVlad for RM25 if you're interested via PM or reply here. He's painted though, so you might have to strip him. It's not that bad but I wouldn't call it a masterpiece either :p

By the way how many pts do you guys normally play.. a small game i mean. 35pts - 40pts i presume.

nono...u start with 15pts, then 25, then 35 and 50...

Starter is around 12-13 pts...

If I am not mistaken the Epic casters are the sort of 'lvl up' versions of themselves (but not necessarily better or stronger, just different) In some cases they become more theme specific or serve a particular niche in the army (see Epic Kreoss).

You can use either with your army

You warcaster doesn't cost points, as a matter of fact they cost negative points also called warjack points. You deduct these points from the warjack you take.

well that kinda funny. let say i wanna play with butcher

butcher = WJ+7
Kodiak = 9
Beserker = 6
berserker = 6
Jugger = 7

so the total would be = 9+6+6+7-7 = 21pts correct

for a 17pts game

Normally we would play 15,25,35.. points because that's the standard list people prepare and bring. You can probably get someone to top up 2 points for a 17 pointer

Hmm.. four jacks there... I've seen that 15 pointer somewhere... oh wait!

so thats 13pts= 2 pts left.. what can i do.. coz i need to build a few list before ibuy them models.

A good 2 pt is always the Mechaniks. They're awesome. Even more awesome if you have 2 units of them running around

2 pts can also be spent on a Manhunter

Drago is 8 points. With that list you'd have three points to spare.

As a Vlad player, I'd suggest a Wardog + A Manhunter. Can't go wrong with any of those. Manhunter under Signs & Portents is awesome.
