Re: Gizmoduck's Menoth Army
Any suggestions are welcomed
I'm thinking whether I should repaint the Avatar Spear's handle.

Well done bro,
As for the handle its kinda odd for me but have some kinda light saber feel....
If for me i will repaint it to match the theme.

Light Saber hehehe Now that you mentioned it
LOL... I think its the eldar residue still in me. (We like things all purty and colorful) I think I'll keep the blade blue so it provides an accent to the whole thing and repaint the handle silver or gold. It would help to alleviate attention to the modelling work at the base of the hand too.

Those are some really good pics u got there!
The Revenger looks abit plain in the area above the head. Perhaps do some freehands or attach some decals there?

@Alif: I'll try out some freehand if I have time later
need to buy soft pencil first. duwan to scratch the paint off.
@wayfarer: hehe I couldn't find Sanguine highlights anywhere cuz wolf didn't have stock at that time. So used warlock purple instead and that's how this little slanesh group came about lol. Sanguine base can't be highlighted with white/bleached bone as it just ends up looking brown. Red is too khador. So I suppose this purple would do. Keeping it to the Vatican color scheme.

My new Harbinger is going to get proper sanguine treatment if it is in stock.
Was thinking maybe my future exemplars should adopt the Swiss guard colours?
very colourful to be taken seriously though
Exemplars causes "Bouts of laughter" due to their red blue and yellow armour. Perform command check!

Got harby. Spent about... an eternity putting her together, Some collateral damage on the drapery
superglued it back together hope it will be ok. uber fragile she is. lol. Starting to think this project might be beyond my skillsz.

Man, I applaud you for your bravery! I took 1 look (OK, several looks) and decided: uh... maybe not. She looks way too fragile and fiddly. I don't think my dexterity is high enough to pass the skill check...

Re: Gizmoduck's Menoth Army
Broke one of the drapery in half while trying to twist it around to fit. Now need greenstuff to stick it back together. uwaaaaaaaa..
I reinforced the flagpole with a few straight pieces of papercilps running along the pole. Of course had to break the line where hand touches it. I hope after undercoating it wouldn't look too obvious.
Pinned the hand to the arm, torso to lower body, looooooooong drapery to base, left and right drapes onto the side of the base. Didn't want to risk twisting the drapes to look like the box art because takut it breaks again.
The acolytes have been cleaned and their pegs have been marked and drilled on the base. The only other problem i see happening is the chains. They are also very soft and bound to break if too much tension is applied. The problem is I dunno whether I should drill small holes on both the acolytes and harbinger to allow them to slot in and glue better. Don't want to risk damaging the harby's beautiful *ahem.. thighs.. If anything, I have to decide before undercoating. This is going to take a few more days. So Friday night cannot use her yet
I don't like playing with bare minis. Fully painted or non.
