Yo guys...are going to have like....
story based RPG events??...

sumthing similiar to how we played D & D...a game master...the same old stuff private pressed offerered...thier time line~ thier stories...etc etc etc~

Do u mean its like Iron Kingdom single model RPG or do u mean its like story base but uses army with RP story line? If u were speaking of RPG league campaign with army i also have the same idea in mind in fact i already have a structure in mind.
I just doesn't have the time to fine tune it...

Basically what i have in mind is a team RPG campaign game 2 person a team (minimum 4 Team ) and we would need a GM to came out with scenarios
(the reason i want it to be a team campaign its if 1 cant make it the other will fill in)

The campaign are design in the way it can be team vs team or team NPC Games.
It can also run as a RPG or Objective single or army base games

Implementing Game Mechanics
1.Damage carry forward only for the hull for easy reference (can be repair or replace by using bounty points)
PS (when a jack is trash is gone must use bounty point to repair if it was trash 3 time its permanently gone must buy new 1 using bounty points)
2.Bonding rules
3.Neutral Mobs
4.NPC enemies
5.Modes Changing single model campaign /army mode(which means in several scenario requires u to fight or use only single model)
example : your solo character got ambushed cox of ur RP
6.Bounty Points (can be used to repair damaged jack or Increase army size

Requirement : Blood Thirsty and Creative GM

What u guys think?

I like the bounty idea. It opens up space for a mission to collect the most gold or steal opposition's pot of gold!

yea!!~ XD now we're talking..
but then...might need sum guys with more experince...as i do know..stuff liek this needs alot of test play =X...

afterall...the ones whose been winning continously will hav a larger army..
so...we might need sum stuff to balance them off =X

some examples tht i think suitable of~:
1. Having a Heroes Might n Magic format..
u hav a keep to protect and ur war caster is the hero.

2. Forcing players to recruit things they normally don;t to gain access to multiple benifits, e.g. units, send them for part time in city to earn u gold when they arent going for war~

3.Jacks needs gold for maintainability, while unit needs pay day~.

=X anymore idea guys?

I already have few exp RPG GM looks into the mechanics . They reckon its workable . But i still think having a field test play will be good.(maybe can get better ideas)

Nope this the fun part which i 4got to mention ,
The bounty system goes by model ,
its like in reality if u continue winning the bounty on your models head will increases too.

Guess what gonna happen next?
(which means more NPCS / Players will Jump Him for the bounty on his head)


Its an RPG game its all depends on how good the GM and i believe that our GM will makes it work

The Side Quest is a very good idea sometimes when got canned so badly we just don't want 2 go battlefield that's where we find side quest

As for the maintenance cost i think will only kill the losing side faster then helping them , cox i dont see the winning side will have problem paying a few maintenance cost .
(Its kinda sad when the losing warcaster is dead poor and the troops be leaving him)

Don't worry we have exp many time in warmachine game having more troops not necessary will wins.
However we can make it harder to extend armies beyond starting points by 2x the point cost


Certain errands might require certain troops to complete buy/FOC its depends on GM

Haha things is starting to get better

As we go along we can add more things ,
this sounds like more fun then most of the RPG i have played b4 so far

This is very interesting! I would suggest also, some scenarios without Warcaster/lock kills or even, without warcaster/lock played at all. Just units and solos and maybe jacks with jack marshalls - and objectives, of course!

eg. Desperate defence of a small town by the local garrison against a raid. Warcasters and warlocks are supposed to be rare, anyway.

1 more suggestion. How about the players adopt a unit command attachment or a solo.

Then, have some sort of method for the character to gain experience with each battle - with that experience, buy spells or stats or something. The price of the abilities need to be determined, though.

Then when enough xp, buy the jack marshall or beast shepherd or something ability. And later, become warcaster warlock?

Workable but if we do that it be just like standard Iron Kingdom single model RPG leh.
How bout we do this as side quest when we change mode to spice up the character 's fluff and capabilities?

Well, I don't know much about the IK RPG but what I'm suggesting is more like erm... Warcraft3 or something. We're playing skirmish, not really a free-form RPG.

For a more detailed skirmish ruleset that allows you to do all kinds of RPG-like stuff, you probably need something like Warcanto:

We have our 1st Section of WM ARMY SEMI RPG CAMPAIGN on last Wednesday at Squee's place its kinda exciting.

Stryker got ambushed by Magnus...
2 Khador stuck in winter...
Mercs and Cryx stuck in the mist with NPC butcher wandering around...
