[Trollbloods] For Kith and Kriel!

Only one thread for a Hordes army list and that is Circle? Oh no... This can't go on... We need more Troll ideas here! To get the ball rolling, I'm going to start with a simple 15 pointer:

Grim Angus
Earthborn Dire Troll
Troll Impaler
Slag Troll

It's meta against WM (since there's so much of it running around) The list is simple enough: Just run the big troll to the caster and see it munch him alive. Substituting the Slag Troll for a Troll Axer will make the Earthborn go there faster

For the uninitiated, here's what they do:

Grim: Gives a beast (the big troll) Hunter and Pathfinder. His gun gives the target a homing beacon that lets other beasts gain 2" movement to it.

Troll Impaler: I forgot his animus. But he has critical slamming spear. Awesome.

Slag Troll: Gives the EBDT a critical corrosive fist and +2 to melee attack rolls. Whoo!

*Troll Axer: Gives a beast (namely the EBDT) +3" and pathfinder.

So there you have it. Sweet and simple and only 4 models!

addendum: Forgot to list down the main death dealing beast itself:
Earthborn Dire Troll: Gains bonus stuff depending on surrounding terrain, matches the POW of the victim's melee weapon. Since most casters and locks have high POW melee weapon, this is AWESOME!

1 Earthborn Dire Troll (my primary killer)

here's the 25 point extension:
1 Pyg Burrowers unit (min) (my 2nd primary killer)
1 Fell Caller Hero
Stone Scribe Chronicler
Swamp Gobber Bellows Crew

I don't know what to put for 35 points. Maybe a couple of Troll Scouts to round off my list. Or 1 unit of scouts and 1 min unit of Pyg Bushwackers.

Or.... 1 more Earthborn Dire Troll o.o;;;;;

I read this list. It's interesting indeed, having tier 4 at 15 points.

Should be interesting to test it out.

I now have a Troll army! Yay! Not an army that I had planned, but it's a start. I forgot about this warlock's tier bonus and ended up with 1 point to spare that I absolutely can't do anything with The stuff is still not painted, so you won't be seeing me fielding it anytime soon.

Gunbjornn (+5) 15 points! But I'm stuck with 14 :/
Dire Troll Bomber (-9) (this is the model that gave me the 1 point discount)
Slag Troll (-6)
Swamp Troll (-4)

It'd rock if I have a Troll Impaler, it'd fit so well. To think that I'm only missing 3 models from a 15 point tier 3 list

Explosivo for 1 Fury! But really, I bought the model because it had a bazooka and an army cap. It just looks awesome ^.^;;;

He can be main artillery gun and forces enemy to comes to u. As u pack in heavy assault unit to def against enemy attacks

It works the same concept as my pirates list

i guess i'll add some Trollblood love tactics too then.

Whilst not a tiered list. It is pretty formidable though only having two warbeasts.
How it works:
Madraks Sure Foot spell means the entire brick around him will benefit from x-KD and +2DEF. His Feat although not very great means his champs go nuts, cleave move an inch and cleave some more.

You want to then Screen your Beasts and Lock behind a dbl screen of Champions who not only benefit from Madraks Surefoot, they also gain +2ARM when BTB with one another. The Champions are the can-openers here. With hign MA, PS11 Weaponmaster and 2 attacks a piece. On top of that, they have 8 boxes each and Tough.

The Krielstone Bearer Unit will anchor the brick, also add +2ARM under the stone's protective Aura. Makin those champions at the front tougher to hit troops wearing Khador Armor. LIKE!!!

Faced this list before... Only managed to kill like two guys and my entire army is destroyed.... painnnn on the riverside

I have a Tier 4 list at 35 pts! I made two mistakes before:

#1 I thought Gunbjornn was (+5 WJ), in fact, he's (+6 WJ)!
#2 I initially thought that Whelps aren't part of his tier list. They are!

So yeah, I scrounged this up:

Designed by swedish? Or adapted by the design team to use those names... I'm liking the Trolls, I think almond will enjoy playing Trolls after this.

Would prefer Skinners in place of those whelps and Fell caller.
The Hero can only effect warrior units = pygs in this instance so very sad as they be underground for most of the time so no KD. they use guns so the +2MA is a waste and the pathfinder ability? whatever for? they dig underground.

Skinners on the other hand are very anti-warbeast. Rolling 5 d6 dmg on the charge against an enemy WB is no joke... and it will be able to last against em too if yer lucky. Unfortunately since you are Tier inclined this will not work... so go for Min Sluggers in place of the Hero and whelps. Who wouldn't love some Rambo trolls?

Now you get the trenches and can place your thumpers in there whilst the sluggers and burrowers sneak about.
