Very nice figs- I need to take a crack at this hobby soon. I have some Cryx figs that need some painting love.

Where did you get those bases? They look fantastic, esp. with those nice paint jobs!

I've never played the game- I just thought the models looked really cool so I bought the starter box and a few cool looking models Smile Once I get past my Iyanden Eldar and Death Korps projects, I'll take a whack at painting up my Cryx. Smile

The current list I'm painting up has 30 Wraithguard and 2 Wraithlords in it- should be interesting on the table.

I play/hobby at Legio Malaysia on Friday evenings. If you get a chance drop by sometime- we have a pretty active club with a great community feel.

@Jasechew- I'll definitely get the Cryx stuff painted up, and give the game a try after the Iyanden project. Many thanks Smile

I believe we have a couple of guys with warbands, with more that I might not know about. When we first formed the club a couple years ago, we had regular games of Warmachine going on. However, those folks either moved or got transferred, and are no longer able to attend Hobby Nights at Legio.

It's basically a "chicken and the egg" thing at this point- no one's going to play until someone starts playing! Smile Once I finish this hobby challenge being run on the 40K Malaysia forums, I'd be happy to paint some models up and give it a try. If folks were interested in playing Warmachine on a reasonably regular basis at Legio, I'm sure we could get a new table and/or terrain built specifically for it Smile All depends on interest level...

Well, the last time I was at legio, there were already a few tables more than suitable for Warmachine and Hordes. I remember one with crops, a river and a bridge and one red desert and iinm a swamp table? The dark gothic tables would not be perfect fit, though.

@Wayfarer- Absolutely, we do have suitable tables no doubt. However, I thought a swampy 4x4 with rotten docks as a Cryx table could be pretty bad-ass... Very Happy

It would be indeed! Also, water-terrain (shallow and deep) has significant effect in Warmachine/Hordes (eg. warjacks shutdown when they fall in shallow water and most jacks die in deep water except certain amphibious jacks). A table with bogs and ponds will make playing on that quite interesting!
