Stryker and 'Ol Rowdy interactions with throws
Although Cygnar is of the minority right now, an interesting question came up on Stryker + 'Ol Rowdy that I thought should be shared.
a) Stryker is 3" away from 'Ol Rowdy. A kodiak moves and succeeds in 2H-throwing 'Ol Rowdy to Stryker. Does Stryker get knocked down?
b) Stryker is B2B behind 'Ol Rowdy. A kodiak moves in and so far succeeds in the strength check towards 'Ol Rowdy when performing a 2H-throw. Kodiak intends to throw 'Ol Rowdy to Stryker (thrown model does not block LOS when determining throw target). Does Stryker get the +2 DEF? Due to being B2B, is this also pretty much an "auto-hit" (can't deviate more than half of the distance thrown) on Stryker?

- Spoiler:
a) When getting throwned and hits its intended target, 'Ol Rowdy moves directly towards Stryker and contacts him. 'Ol Rowdy is now B2B with Stryker and according to the affinity, Stryker does not get knocked down.
b) Although everyone visually sees that 'Ol Rowdy gets "picked up", in game terms, 'Ol Rowdy never left B2B with Stryker. Therefore, Stryker gets the +2 DEF bonus for being B2B with 'Ol Rowdy. One can argue that a throw to an intended target is not an attack as according to the rulebook, but the affinity states that the bonus applies when making a melee attack roll. Therefore, Stryker gets the +2 DEF. Since the distance from the thrown model to Stryker is 0" (B2B), therefore the deviation cannot go anywhere if you miss hitting Stryker. Stryker will still be hit regardless of the attack roll. Menoth rejoices and thanks Khador for hurting their nemesis!

So the general consensus is that you can't toss Rowdy towards Stryker if you want to knock Stryker down. How evil.

Well upon retrospect it would be a bit of a cheat to so easily circumvent the bonuses gained from being b2b in the first place
