Here's a WIP of my Devastator!
this week I manage to finish posing my 'charging' devastator. I had to dismember the leg so it was quite a pain in the a**.

Charging Devastator is looking awesome! It actually looks like its gonna run and pound someone head on! Pinning?

Did you get inspired from another charging Devastator? I believe I've seen one quite a long time ago.

@ NeonUchuujin, Pinning - the arms, and the left leg joints. When I base him, I'm gonna ping the legs to a mount - hope to get some work done by this week. Invest in a hand drill for abouts RM200 and all your pinning worries will disappear! lol I suggest the black & decker one. small and handy.

yea I took reference from the one posted some time ago. though i didn't really like the leg pose. Also I really wanted to include the shoulder pads, still thinking on how i can do it. I most likely have to doctor the Left shoulder pad as it would seem that it sorta folds up cause his arm is bent to the back. but I'm still thinking about it. should i or should i not. its gonna kill me though cutting through raw pewter with a pen-blade

@ Tekanan: how do i get the black to look dirty? I'm guessing the weathering technique i use :p

the model you're seeing is the initial part of weathering, getting the overall to look 'used' before I add in the dents and chips - that's gonna take a while
-I mainly hand painted using dry brushing after I base coat the primary color on the model.
-Depends on what weathering tone you want I use a darker weathering color and do heavy dry brushing over the base, then after I use a lighter weather color and dry brush along the edges for highlighting.
-I occasionally use some ink washes to make the 'dirt' more prominent.

once I'm done with the overall weathering, I'd add in chips and dents...

this is an update on my Khador Army, last week I manage to get 3 of my Man-O-War Demolition Squad painted. still haven't finish the Hammer though. For the base, I'm probably gonna leave it to the last and do all of it one shot.

on the side- after getting some good feedback, I reposed my Devastator. will upload the images when i can.

@ cikiauness: heya! to be honest - I haven't started playing at all! lol i'll probably get Eric or Chris Kwok to teach me once i start. We game usually at the shop near Atria, Comics Corner? mostly Friday nights.

Yeah, we can easily teach u the basics of WM. Since Chris and I are Khadoran-based players, we can teach u some dirty Khadoran tactics and how to think like a Khadoran.

I noticed u got a marksman too. Good call! Will your widowmakers be green too? If you are good at it, I recommend a camo cloak paintjob.

is that raven spawn i see at the side or angel spawn >.< sorry im also a crazy toy collector hahaha

this week's update, MoW demolition squad 90% complete, a little more weathering & highlights and I'll be done for the model, except the bases of course :p

@ cikiauness: lol yes Johnny's my collegue as well. you could try Comics Corner, I though I saw a redeemer there the other day. you could try the top shop at lowyat - either level 2 or 3? can't really remember though, they have a huge collection of spawn fiigures :p

definitely would game with you, once my army is complete.
