Playing Warmachine online with VASSAL

Most of us would probably know about this already.

There's an online module called Vassal which enables players to convert their beloved tabletop games into an onlnie version. Think Windows Chess but with measuring tape, digital dice and top down 2D view! Here's a picture to illustrate what it is about.



You can find me on vassal during the holidays using the name gizmoduck. I think Tekanan is on it too sometimes This module is great if you are thinking of trying out an army before shelling out the cash for the models. Also great if you're stuck at home babysitting and can't go to HF try it!

I hope this thread can be used for vassal players to invite players to game. For example, if I'm online, I'll just post an invite here and whoever wants to play me can start up vassal and msg me. Something like that.

Would it be too much to hope for an army painter?

Well I personally would prefer real stuff which i can hold on to over virtual stuff . Its like real preferring women over porn.
