Warmachine in Hobby Forge.

As most of you guys know, I don't sell any PP products yet. I will be getting the basic stuff in soon, but it will take some time.

Also, as an effort to boost the publicity of Warmachine, Alif, Jason and I, have decided to create a flyer/poster kinda thing to let the public be more aware of Warmachine. Here's what I did.

The first work was a mistake as I didn't leave any space for text, so I made it into a 1024x768 wallpaper for you guys to download:

I cant Help but to notice ....

There is only Khador Players and Jack on the second poster.

Well since Chris , Alif and myself are all Khador player which specialize in different Caster.

The 1st 1 is nice....
But it reminds me DOTA...

Technically all factions are represented.

Chris = Khador/Scyrah
Me = Khador/Cryx
Jason = all

Come to think bout it all 3 of us got in common faction not only KHADOR but also CRYX

Next poster will feature Cryx then. I'm playing Cryx too anyway.

Actually come to think bout it Cryx seems is the most common faction now,
After all the faction i went through i found its the hardest faction to play.
but then once u master it other faction is piece of cake

It's got big stompy robots, little magicky robots, horny pirate girls and zombies; what's not to love about Cryx?

No wonder we has Cryx players springing up like daisies!

Well playing Cryx its like handling a girl in a relationship

Muz learn how 2 play sneaky and timing plays a very role important too,
Ur units its like a relationship with a girl its very random and fragile + it can also do alot damage.
If not handle carefully u can get urself killed instead

well no wonder cryx got so many zombie stocks

Im out this Friday. Last minute work came up. Sigh..

Report on Weekday Warmachine @ Hobby Forge. Friday, 13th August 2010.

Despite the low turnout had 2 amazing games.

Game 1: Kara Sloane (Cygnar) vs Skarre, Queen of the broken coast (Cryx)

For the first time, I, Chris, Butcher extraordinaire, tried out a Cygnar shooty army. The plan was perfect; Centurion to hold the flank, hunter mounting hit and run attacks thru the diff terrain on the right and long gunners in hard cover on a hill, nigh immovable. The perfect plan.

Long Gunner: "...Is that a bonejack sprinting towards us?"

Boom. Two blood rain spells later and five of my long gunners melted.
My dice betray me as the long gunners route and the hunter misses.
Soon i get all my guns in range, prepared to fire next turn.

Skarre pops feat. I can't touch her and her babies. Boom Nightmare hits my lines Miraculously i survive due to some defensive spells that send Kara skittering out of his prodigous reach.
My turn. I pop feat and nearly destroy Nightmare and Deffjack.
Hunter has a crucial shot on the bloody arc node. 9+ on 3D6... and i roll 2, 2, 1.
The rest of my army is destroyed. My caster has a chance. She sees a shot. Skarre has 11 life left. Cap her and i win... Kara breaks melee, takes a free strike, survives and blasts Skarre...

...For 10 damage.

Kara: "You have got to be shitting m- *SPLAT!*"
Deathjack eats Kara alive, spikey hair and all.
Om nom nom.

Game 2; Kommander Zoktavir vs Vladimir, the Dark Champion.

Game 2; Kommander Zoktavir vs Vladimir, the Dark Champion.

The game started well enough, with Eiryss taking out Nick's infamous manhunter. Soon I am faced with his advancing forces. Butcher sets up a charge with Rorsch's cobbled war-hog. However, Nick's forces prove swifter than i expected hitting my line like a thunderbolt. Devastator dies and war-hog nearly follows as it loses its body aspect to the flurry of lances.

War-hog retreats and casts its animus upon Butcher. Butcher pops feat, casts ravager and goes in with two focus left. Pinballing around and spending those focus, Butcher takes out 6 iron fangs, Vlad's Drakhun and Drago. Enraged by Butcher's power, Koldun Lord Komrade Sqvee takes out two more iron fangs. Brine mops up before being slain by Vlad's destroyer.

Vlad moves in, prepared to avenge his vassals death steps up, only to join them as Epic Butcher casts boundless charge on himself and rockets into him.

Good game, little prince. Good game.
