[Khador] Karchev 25pts

Wondering what I can replace the 9pts with to further improve this list.

The 9 remaining points I've decided so far are the Assault Kommandos (AK) and the Grey Lord Ternions (GLT). While they were fun to use, I am looking for ways to improve the last remaining 9 points.

Any suggestions?


For the people wondering why AKs and GLTs, I can do the following with them:

1) AKs shield wall + Karchev's Eruption on them.
- This gives a total of DEF/ARM 14/18 against ranged attacks. Against melee attacks, enemy models are forced to take a POW 14 fire dmg.

2) GLT's blizzard + AKs
- Contingency if the AKs are out of reach of Karchev for him to cast Eruption. Although no dmg dealt, the cloud effect provides concealment.

3) GLT's blizzard + Karchev with sidearms online
- We are looking at a DEF 17 Karchev, DEF 15 Marauder and w DEF 14 Juggernaut...

You think too much.

Ya, quite actually!

AKs are just there to eat dmg and halt opponent's advance while karchev sets up to deliver his marauder (marauder under unearthly rage is simply awesome for a 7pt jack). If opponents are foolish enough to ignore the AKs, surprisingly the AKs can do some considerable damage.

Initially I wanted to max out the AKs WA, but DEF 17 Karchev too funny to ignore XD.

The list isn't as imba, but I can assure you that it is damn fun to play!

Also, alot of people underestimate the Marauder here.

I too once underestimated the Marauder, until I got hit by one, and it slammed straight into my caster.

I'd say try the funny 17 Def Karchev for the lulz

Well sometimes looks can be deceiving ...
its just like lights travel faster then sound.
some ppl just looks so bright until they open thier mouth.

Personally for Karchev and friends I'd recommend 2 squads of Ternion and a Koldun Lord to keep the ball rolling. Downgrade one of the juggers to be a berserker to fit all this.
