WM Malaysia OCT Mini-Event!

The Warmachine Malaysia Mini-Event is finally happening!

Well sort of... I'm using this upcoming one as an excuse to 'test' and see how much support it can garner. I apologise for such a short notice but I intend to do this at the end of every month and if I don't start now, we have to wait for another 5 weeks. On to the details!

Date: 29.10.10, Friday
Time: 8pm
Location: Happy Forge where happy people go!
Format: Bondings

Yes that's right! The format for WM Malaysia's first ever mini-event shall be bondings! For this particular night, all games shall be played according to the Bondings format!

The following rules apply:-

Bondings
1) A Warcaster can be bonded to one non-character warjack.
2) Warcasters with an in-built bond (e.g. eSorscha) cannot take another bonded warjack.
3) Warjacks follow the "effects of bonding" rule as dictated by Appendix B (pg. 246 of Prime Mk.II).
4) Bond effects are determined after players determine who goes first (who gets the first turn) but before and deployment is made.
5) The same applies for Hordes and its respective equivalents.

So how do will there be a tracking of players and what jacks they bond with? or will this be something that's done only for that day and that day only?

Its probably wont do much different for me as I change armies between games.

this is not a campaign. U get a new bond every game and this format is only for the mini event.

that's between u and your opponent. I prefer 25pt but some of us only have 15pt.

Try to field 25 if you can, else 15 is just as fun.

But game dynamic (crusade) changes a plenty. But don't play too big point, then you'll play till sunrise (crusade) also no finish.

Then you'll wonder why Ranka from Macross (crusade) kept singing to you. And og (crusade) the headache you'll get... The pain till in your bones (crusade) sensation, that I promise you, you don't want.

Khador we can get away with jack heavy till 25 pts, not much difference, but once hit 35... You'll see it. Also opponents for 25pts are more interesting.

This is the only other game that is so much fun that getting crush is enjoyable ( when you see the 25pts Jason or Gizmo or Ramone field...wow!)

Ramone's 25pt heavy beast list is terrifying. o.o Saw it briefly in action a couple of weeks ago.

Ramone no longer peaceful Crane. Ramone list with goat scarier. Not for khador jacks. But one mistake... You are ded D.E.D Ded!

Well it sure is a interesting list ,
It works somewhat like Khador infact faster and more firepower

This is only using the mkii bond rule in the book right? What about the eSeverius bond rule? or eFeora? or was that an old rule?
