Malacca trip sounds good. ROAD TRIP!
And yes, I did spell it Malacca because I`m being a grammar Nazi.

Re: WM/H at Epic Toyz, Melaka
Haha thanks for the support guys. We will definitely start holding events in Melaka as soon as we start playing more regularly at the shop. A bit difficult currently with everyone's schedule.
Also we dont have much in the way of terrain so we are definitely looking into that as well. Once we have all this set up we will definitely be holding events and tourneys. So look for those in the near future folks. Again thanks for all the great support guys. We hope to not disappoint.

Terrain, what kind of terrain you have in mind. I don't mind sharing my templates once they are done.

Oh yeah definitely bro. Just let us know as we don't really have a proper tabletop gaming day as yet.
As for terrain any type would do at the moment. I am hoping to get some copse of trees done this weekend ... then we will have a real forest instead of Magic green lands as proxy

Re: WM/H at Epic Toyz, Melaka
hahahaha the magic land terrain...
mountain for elevated
blue for water
black for difficult
white for obstruction
and yeah green for forest...
well... in my opinion gaming terrain should be FLAT... so that models can land on them properly and it is easier to measure distance and so on. The only 3d ones should be those that models can not pass or land on... like houses or obstructions.
Building a 3d terrain properly takes lots of experience, in designing. Else we end up with things that are not very playable.

I'm looking at Magic lands as practical use. For quick gaming, having the lands will actually help to get the game played faster.
Might bring a few of those lands myself.

Re: WM/H at Epic Toyz, Melaka
Cool Almond. Might you have a guide or something for that?
And yeah I definitely see the practicality of flat terrain but its not very eye catching when trying to attract new players unfortunately. Lets face it. If all of us only used flat undercoated models or (god forbid) just bases for our first demo game we probably wouldn't even have got into this hobby. A nice terrain is definitely more appealing and fun to play with especially in a game like WM where volume is actually taken into account.
Btw we have 2 houses and some fences at the moment. Will definitely look into making more of those as well.

Re: WM/H at Epic Toyz, Melaka
cool!! i want to follow!! btw you guys need to make your own t-shirts!!. like WM malaysia community t-shirts. slight promo haha. also when you guys go down to mleka (purposely challenging the grammar nazi lol) all with the same 'themed' shirt it will look bad-ass weyyy. i remember when legio went down to penang, everyone except me (fail) wore the green legio shirts and guess what the penang guys too had their own t-shirts; theirs were with title some more!! there was warboss nick, brother captain jake, etc etc. was really cool.
t-shirts are cheap in case you're wondering and since you have great artists in your wm community, im sure the shirts will look awesome. jase im sure will want the picture of those hawt sexy witch coven with the title pimpcaster lol!! also who doesnt like being in a 'group' ae.
man im so excited for you guys. already planning to do road trips in the name of hobby and fun!! BEST GILER!!

Suprisingly, i may be able to get passport for this. But it will be more joining you guys from Melaka though. What is the likely scenario is going ahead a day, and stay in melaka, then meet you guys there.... then go jalan2 with the family again.
Yes, can be done with a bit of advance notice.

dear Arzmi, we were just talking about tshirt. Do you have some contacts we can try?
Normally how much do you think it will run up? Because Tshirts are definitely a goal in the long run.

hmmm.. good news adi san.
It sounds like a good workable idea. Melaka is definitely a nice place to go visit. Nice for a one ~ two days trip for the family.

Re: WM/H at Epic Toyz, Melaka
glib, it depends on a few things. here's what i can remember roughly; round neck with 2 colors is 20-ish if you print around 10+, the more you print the cheaper it gets. additional color is around 100 each divide by the number of shirts you print. so if you print exactly 10 shirts each would cost close to 30 (20 + 100/10) these are stamp prints.
if you want something straight from the pc, me and my brother did one earlier this year, cost us around 50 bucks each but basically its straight from the pc to the shirt, no color limit if i remember correctly and looks much more nicer. so far the shirt has been washed 100+ times and it still looks good.
ill try and get you the number for the guy, but i do remember the place. its somewhere in kelana jaya, just next to the mosque nearby that digital factory/office.
