Hi everyone,

I recently started collecting and painting PoM and ended up with a collection of models without much thought in planning for an army. So I was wondering if there are any experienced PoM players out there who could help me sort out an army from this list. All models painted and based unless otherwise stated. Thanks.

this is the 25Point list
Btw we our gaming group has just upgraded to 25p game lately and wolf already Min 35p therefore here u go a solid 25p strategy list .
to complete the list u just need 1 more model.

1 more point get the mechanik solo or remove paladin add Eirys

Recomanded : upgrade to 10men Deliverer and Mr Dildo(4got tiz jack name but he has big dildo and canon of range 12 / pow 13)

Just put the defender ward on avatar tank and sweep the board, 2 crusader follow behind when enemy charge Avatar they go Kai kill em.

when u go close enough pop feat let em kiss the floor then deilvers and revenger will lunch fireworks up the enemy caster Arse and win . (channel fireball)

Btw wat time u going wolf later?
I got few friends wanna go wolf too perhaps we can meet up later

I am intrigue by this Mr. Dildo fella... Who is he exactly? Does he really have a dildo or does he look like a dildo?

How about a 15pts list for this Saturday? Very Happy Its hard to include the avatar in a 15 pts. Like wasting a lot of points on one model..

Going to wolf's this evening aroung 6 should be there by 6.30pm. Going with another newbie friend playing Khador. See you guys there? Or maybe we have already met??? hmm? hmm?

haha sorry for keep editing the list cox i also still new in this... well I think i met you before there when Wolf was teaching you and your friend plays WM.I'm 1 of those 2 random chinese dude which sit b'side you guys that day...

Mr Dildo is call Reckoner and yes he has this big dildo / vibrator on his right Arm and it will hurts if he hits ya.

This list is for 15 points
Recomanded : Eirys and Vessal Mechanik to replace flame guard
Plan: Eirys can screw up enemy caster after ur feat is pop even u fail to kill on feat turn u still can keep it enemy overnight and bungkus him next turn

Yeah, sounds solid enough to me, especially since Avatar's gonna be a whopping ARM 23 with Protection of Menoth.

Eh... that can't be a dildo - it's a long club (reach, P+S17) that emits stinging smoke - which gives the Reckoner Concealment and living enemy models within 2" get -2 to attack rolls. It's actually one of my favourite jacks after the Avatar.

@gizmoduck: Welcome to the Protectorate! Keep a weapon handy at all times (the blasted swanlings are right next door). Ponder the True Law and remember, public Wrackings daily at 5 past noon!

@wayfarer - Oh how I look forward to the wrackings! capital punishment is the way to go! PoM - bringing old school laws and punishment back in the new millenium.

@jasechew - hello random Chinese dude Very Happy hey thanks for putting up with our very SLOWWW game that day lol. Still learning. Lots of complex rules in this game. It seems ilke avatar is very highly recommended. I suppose since he can get ARM 23 then no need for Choir defensive hymns? Are there any range attacks that can really hurt him without boosting? Lots of players prefer giving him hymn of passage instead of vassal of menoth.

@gizmoduck: The Avatar is awesome but bear in mind that he is never part of a Battlegroup, not even with the Harbinger. This means that spells that specifically effect Battlegroup jacks do not effect him. He also does not fulfil the Battlegroup requirements in the tiered theme lists.

Yup and worse of all is.... He cant use the caster warjack points cox he is never a battlegroup

Hi everyone,

Thanks for the great tournament yesterday! Most fun I've had since... well, I'd rather not say. Thanks Alif for a well run tourney. Great to meet new people too.

My list yesterday was:

eKreoss -6
Avatar 11
Crusader 6
Paladin 2
Vassal 2

My overall impression was that I still prefer pKreoss for his support spells and KD feat. Even though eKreoss provides auto hits (which would be almost the same as a KD) and an extra attack, I wasn't able to fully utilize it as I only had 2 main attacking units (i.e. the jacks) or 3 if eKreoss goes charging into melee. Paladin did not contribute to any attacks throughout the 4 games lol. Died in the first 3 games so I decided to let him act as bodyguard in the fourth. Need to protect him better next time.

I reckon pKreoss would have at least cost the opponent some focus/movement/attack to stand up in the next turn which would stem the counter attack somewhat.

Perhaps my mistake was I waited to pop my feat as a counter attack rather than when I go charging in at first. I thought I had plenty of focus to go around to boost damage as The Avatar generated its own foc and Crusader takes another 3. After upkeep still left with about 5 to play with. Unfortunately, I forgot to activate enliven a couple of times and my Avatar got pretty much busted up. (Epic rolls of 5s and 6s didn't help the cause tbh)

eKreoss benefits from dead units too (which I totally overlooked) heal or something. So I suppose infantry spam would have been better than the crusader / Avatar. At least I would get more extra attacks during his feat turn. And his Sanctimony (or something like that) spell would work well on the infantry as well. Knocking down people for fun Very Happy

I want to try pSeverius next since I have finished painting and basing the model, and work Eiryss into the battlegroup.

You can always model Harby as "walking" instead. XD

I've seen it done. Really cool as she leaves flames behind on her footsteps.

If you want to go the distance, just use one of those warhammer flying base stands to mimic her floating slightly off the ground as technically, 'she never walks on the defiled immoren'.

Some pics of that would be nice Alif if you have any. My modelling skills are not that great to be honest as I am just getting familiar with drilling and pinning.

This is the model that made me choose PoM in the first place as I have not seen anything resembling it. Kind of 'manga'esque / Akira that captured my imagination. The whole Joan of Arc metaphor drew me in too. I suppose I'll keep it as standard as possible. There is a suggestion that I should run a heavy pin right in the center of the base to support her torso. Maybe disguise it behind the drapery.

Thinking of painting the Harbinger in a different way rather than her traditional white cloth drapes and white armor. But afraid to take risks also on such an expensive model. Pressure2~!!

I was thinking of doing her Joan of Arc style.

With all the pinning and gluing that's going to be done, stripping doesn't sound like a good idea to me Very Happy I might only get one shot at this.

I like the idea of mounting her on a scenic base too. Give her height and provide more space to showcase the acolytes peeping up her skirt. But I have no idea of how to do it. Any one with plaster of paris experience? paris? Joan of Arc? It must be.... wait for it... destiny...!

Ok here's the proposed list for Harbinger TIER 4 army (35 points)

Paladin of the Order of the Wall 2

* -1 to cost of heavy WJ without ranged weapon

The models that I have not yet obtained are the Guardian, Vilmon, 1 more paladin and the mechanik. But I have the vassal of menoth if I'm allowed proxy to replace him.

Bonuses:

Tier 1 : FA for Paladin solos increase by +1 for each unit included (What does this mean?)

Tier 2: +1 on starting role

Tier 3: One wall template for each Paladin solo (3 altogether including Vilmon?) 20" from table edge

Tier 4: -1 cost to Heavy warjacks without ranged weapon (includes the Avavavavavavatatatatarrrr)

Question: Do the tier bonuses stack up? I assume they do?

@Tier 1 : Paladin and Vilmon +1 FA means u can buy 3 Paladin and 2 Vilmon instead of 2 / 1 (damm Cheese)
@ Tier 2 : obvious + 1 to starting roll
@ Tier 3 : Yes include tat vilmon
@ Tier 4 : Its the PoM year end Jack clearance sales
