I'm keen. But having 35 pts army per player means massive battle. Not sure if i can tahan 2 hour game per round.

2 hour for a 70pt game is actually pretty quick. I wish I had my Trolls. The 35 pt Troll army list that I cooked up sounds more appealing than my Khador one

I asked the same question in wolf's forum thread. I presume that they should be enforcing chess clock system. That would ensure speedier game to get within the 2 hours.

Re: Wolf's Game Shop Doubles Tournament
If they can do that be nice,
But that 's kinda hard as most ppl have not much exp on 2 v 2 and the points is 35p and some more need to refer to steam rollers rules and rule book if situation goes bad . If wanna join this I would suggest have some testing/training section for the guys who is participating . At the very least u get to know ur partner and his army list more.

Yup. That should be possible once we got more details in. I presume some of the others will also play in doubles, such as Toybox kaki.

Re: Wolf's Game Shop Doubles Tournament
Sadz... Not many of us have 35pts. Not many of us have e en played 35pts before.
Kind of pointless, too high level for most of us.

True. It does seem very advantageous to some of the older players and/or deeper pockets. I think doubles of 25 points is still not bad.

Re: Wolf's Game Shop Doubles Tournament
Yeah... This week let's try teaming up.
1. Discuss your list and strategy with someone first.
2. See if you can come up with a team strategy.
3. Work as a team.
Tips for big games, deployment is key!
Tips plan a tactic. Discuss changes during your opponent turn.

Re: Wolf's Game Shop Doubles Tournament
Only got one week to prepare . Better make it count .
What I would suggest is choose your caster then think which other caster work best with yours. From there u guys come out with ur plans.

Re: Wolf's Game Shop Doubles Tournament
An interesting tournament since I love tag teams, but sadly I've got a wedding to attend.
Alas, if the monthly themed week is Tag Team that'll be awesome.

We can do that this coming game day, even the next few.
Tag team have to be well planed. Same faction definitely works better. But team work is what win games. Drago with fury and enjoy vlad affinity... Strong!

Re: Wolf's Game Shop Doubles Tournament
Sunday evening is suicidal for me. So ehhhh.... will see how. May have to scrap the noob tourney if I go to this one.
But If I were to run a 35 pointer, it'd be almost all of my currently available painted models. Here's my 35:
pVlad / pSorscha / eSorscha+Wardog / Karchev (+5)
Decimator (9)
Destroyer (9)
Juggernaut / Marauder (7)
Minimum Mechanics (2)
Widowmakers (4)
Dannon Blythe and Bull (4)
Kell Bailoch (2)
pEiryss (3)
So apparently my list of casters are highly flexible

Re: Wolf's Game Shop Doubles Tournament
almond : might as well go to noob tourney. That one has more chance... Going to doubles is a bit more suicidal, but i'm going anyway to both. Good for multiple xp by taking on the more... veteran players.

Re: Wolf's Game Shop Doubles Tournament
Haha that one needs to apply extended visas already.
Well but I must agree with Adiaze its a good exp. I believe that WM Malaysia members will win this one after playing with me so many games should have NP at all playing with other players out there .
