Wolf's Game Shop Amateur Tournament

Event: Warmachine Amatuer Tournament 2010
Date: DEC 4th 2010
Venue: Wolf Game Shop
Entry Fee: RM10
Time: 12pm
Rounds: 3 rounds (1 hour each round) - Swiss Pairings
Scoring: 3 Points for the Win, 2 points for the draw, 1 point for the loss
Mission: Random missions taken from the Steamroller format.
Army Size: 25 points

Prize: RM50 store credit for the winner and RM20 for second place

Registration: All Amateurs must register for the tournament before midnight the 2nd of DECEMBER 2010

WHo is an amateur?
1. Never played in ANY Warmachine/Hordes tournament
2. Never played in ANY Warmachine/Hordes league
3. Did not participate in Shattered Grounds/Summer Rampage/Steamroller events

I dont think much ppl is qualified to join this,
However I do encourage those who qualified to join. Its a good experience.

Yeah good times I be there to watch and yum ca section after the game . I don't there be much ppl therefore it wont be long .

Well, it's confirmed going to be me and Adi so far It's going to be a short tournament alright

Well actually Tekanan qualifies too as he was TO during our WM annual game.

Well, If this ends b4 6pm, then I should not have a problem because I need to be somewhere by 7pm.

Even if I go, I'm not in it to win but I'm in it to further expand my "running tourney" experience.

Is a TO more amature than the participants?

I'm really not happy about the two events. One is super pro, one cuts out all of us, baring adi and rahman...

It's like it's design to deny our participation like that.

Well it'll be good if only adi and you are the only ones playing. Then we pau all the prize.

I did ask in wolf's forum, just to be sure on what exactly tally as 'non-amateur'. How does he check?

As for Alif, better check, for all we know, his policy dictates that TO is not an amateur. Coz frankly, TO knows the rules, he's not exactly a noob.

I will just ask but TBH, I'm not really looking forward to it because of my nightly commitments on Dec 4th.

Perhaps if I borrow one of you guys' Horde army then I will qualify as nub?

WGS might not allow ur pEiryss conversion as I last check they are quite straight bout proxy/conversion.

Wah pressure wei!! You fully well know that I'm not the best khadoran player out there! (that goes to Nick, who went unbeaten in the previous tourney)

I 'may' drop by WGS this sunday and ask him about my eligibility and pick up a couple of faction books.

Actually, due to various reasons, I'm expecting at least 10 people participate in this event. We shall wait & see...

Looks like i will be free this weekend. Now I wonder if I qualify as a noob. :p

Can I get a confirmation [from people in this thread] on who is going to participate in this amateur event?

Looks like it's a go for me for now. Don't know what army i'm fielding yet though.

@P666P: You can go to the WGS forums and ask. It's next weekend so you're interested in the tourney better do it soon!

I'm not participating this time around. I don't qualify for the newbie tourney and can't spare the time for the doubles tourney. I might drop by though, to check it out, get to know the new players.

I'll be there during the noob tournament. Not for the doubles.
